Mr. Monroy worked almost 35 years at Deloitte, an international accounting firm, were he served in various National and regional leadership positions including: Partner In-Charge of the Northwestern Cluster, Board Member and Statutory Auditor, leader of various National practices including the Tourism Real Estate practice, the Maquiladora Industry practice and the Transfer Pricing practice. He also actively collaborated in the formation of the Deloitte Chinese Services Group.
Mr. Monroy has assisted numerous companies to establish and maintain operations in Mexico including Fortune 500, small and mid-sized companies, in industries such as: Real Estate, Maquiladoras, Energy, Mining, Trading, etc. including companies from North America, Europe and Asia.
He has authored numerous technical papers on the taxation of foreign investors in Mexico that have been published in Mexico, the United States and Europe. He wrote the tax chapters of publications such as: In-Bond Maquiladora Handbook published by the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and In-Bond Manufacturing in Mexico: A way to reduce your cost published by Deloitte, Haskins & Sells and co-authored the Chapter of Mexico of the Transfer Pricing International, A Country-by-Country Guide published by John Wiley & Sons. He is a frequent speaker on how to do business in Mexico in Asian and American forums. Enrique Esparza

Enrique Esparza, Jr. has been in the manufacturing industry for over 25 years with expertise in establishing and administrating new companies in Mexico.  Enrique grew up in the manufacturing business supporting his father who was dedicated to managing foreign operations.
Beginning his career with Assemble in Mexico in 1988, now Co-Production International, Inc. (CPI). Enrique’s binational business experience and education bridges both the United States and Mexico and includes a BA in Business Administration from the University of San Diego in 1995.
After taking over CPI in 2009, Enrique contributed to continue bringing foreign investment to Mexico and has helped established over 220 companies in the Baja California region.  He was a founder and now serves on the Board of Directors for Call Center Services International (CCSI), Enrique has cultivated an infrastructure in these sister firms providing turnkey services to US and international manufacturers seeking to expand or move operations to Mexico.
Enrique is deeply entrenched in the business of global manufacturing; his passion lies not only in bringing foreign investment to Mexico but more importantly contributing to job growth on both sides of the border. This in turns leads to a healthy and more stable community. Javier Govi

AMAR is the first national professional organization committed exclusively to promote the development of the Senior Living industry in Mexico. Founded on February 20, 2007, AMAR was initially conceived to educate government and business leaders on the potential of the senior living industry for Mexico. In 2005 he went in to his wifes business who was starting a real estate brokerage and after 8 years in sales he became till now Probien's Buisiness developer.

Robert Krieger

Robert Kreiger has been at the center of international business in the Los Angeles area for more than 35 years. As President of Krieger Worldwide, Robert is responsible for the leadership and compliance of four companies in three countries. Gary Swedback

Mr. Swedback manages 10 NAI Mexico offices situated in all major markets in Mexico. He is also one of the leaders of the NAI Latin American and Caribbean team, consisting of 22 additional offices throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America.
As a commercial real estate specialist in Latin America since 1992, he has personally completed over 450 transactions in all facets of tenant/buyer and owner representation. These include facility leases, purchases, build to suit construction, land transactions, portfolio sales, and valuations.
NAI Mexico and its corporate services directors have completed over 80 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial transactions in Mexico. NAI Latin America and Caribbean maintains the strongest presence and activity levels of any global firm in those markets.

Harold Hoerkstra

Harold manages the Mixed Use & Capital Markets Division at NAI Mexico, a member firm of NAI Global, the single largest, most powerful global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms.
The Mixed use & Capital Markets division assists developers/land owner, financial institutions, equity firms, hotel brands, retail operators among others, with corporate solutions for their real estate needs. The main industries he serves are hospitality, residential, retail and office, focused on corporate services, financial sourcing, acquisition and disposition. The current portfolio of deals in the division exceeds 600mln Usd in transactional value. Harold has participated in major real estate events as speaker and is frequently invited to moderate panels due to his knowledge on the different components within Mixed Use projects.
Project Role: As the Director Harold works with the clients to create tailor made plans and he leads the NAI specialty teams in strategic locations throughout Mexico to support the clients´ needs through the NAI mixed used process and methodologies.
Background: Prior to NAI, Harold was a Director at Deloitte Mexico for 14 years, where he was the National Director for the “tourism real estate” practice.
During his tenure at Deloitte, Harold played a key role in supporting investment in the hospitality and 2 nd home residential industry. Through his analytical skills as well as conducting research he was able penetrate the various markets and assist developers, investors and land owners with their needs. Harold has participated in a variety of projects, including national & international surveys, market studies and coordinating focus groups as well as building creative market approach programs for a variety of sectors, including, professional services, Real Estate and manufacturing.



Héctor Ibarzabal
Managing Director @ Prologis

Hector Ibarzabal has been in the real estate sector since 1988, including office, industrial, retail, and residential sectors. Mr. Ibarzabal’s experience includes real estate structuring, financing and fund raising.
As Managing Director and Head of Operations in Mexico for Prologis, Mr. Ibarzabal has substantial experience managing Prologis’ activities, including development, operations and capital deployment. Previous to Prologis, Mr. Ibarzabal was co-founder of G. Accion, a publicly traded real estate company, where he acted as CFO, COO and President. He is currently a member of the technical committee of Prologis Mexico Fondo Logistico, another Mexican industrial real estate investment vehicle managed by an affiliate of Prologis, a member of the technical committee of FIBRA Prologis and FIBRA Shop and a member of the board of directors of SARE a public mexican homebuilder. Mr. Ibarzabal has a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from IPADE.

Laura Nava

Laura Nava is a Registered Foreign Legal Consultant in California and is licensed to practice in Mexico and New York. Alfred Fraijo Jr.

Alfred Fraijo Jr. is a partner in the Real Estate, Land Use and Natural Resources practice group in the firm's San Francisco and Los Angeles office. - Lead counsel for major utility in connection with land use and disposition planning, including development and disposition agreements, leasing, land purchase agreements, state and local land use permitting, and CEQA compliance for property portfolio valued in excess of $500-million.
- Represented national client in the land planning, permitting and environmental review for the construction of over 200 affordable housing units in San Francisco, including replacement housing.
- Negotiated permitting and environmental review for a $250 million master plan to construct 1,000-unit student housing complex and educational and other learning facilities.
- Negotiated land use permits and property transfers for the development of 230-unit transit oriented residential project inclusive of a parking structure, public plaza and affordable housing units financed with federal, state and local funding sources.
- Negotiated all aspects of public financing, including the owner participation agreement, and construction agreements for the development of 21 single-family detached affordable homes in the Central Valley to be LEED-certified.
-Negotiated conservation easements and property transfer agreements on behalf of a multi-national renewable-energy company in California.
- Completed due diligence acquisition and entitlements for 1.2-million square feet of condominiums, office, commercial and entertainment uses in Los Angeles.
- Represented developer in the construction and financing of a mixed-used project, including 100-units of affordable rental housing. Also drafted and negotiated easement agreements allocating rights and responsibilities for long-term property use and maintenance.
- Completed entitlements and negotiated redevelopment agency financing for a transit-oriented development project, including 269 condominiums, 40,000 square feet of retail and 185 space City-owned transit parking structure. Represented developer in connection with the entitlement and environmental review of over 1-million square feet of residential, office and entertainment uses in Los Angeles, including the preservation and rehabilitation of a historic theatre and recording studio.
- Negotiated a prevailing wage dispute arising out of a multi-million housing and commercial development project in California.
- Negotiated the sale of a 21-acre industrial site, including securing environmental indemnification and insurance for seller.
- Represented redevelopment agencies and developers in condemnation actions and environmental cleanup proceedings in connection with the Polanco Redevelopment Act.
- Negotiated environmental indemnity, remediation and easement agreements for major developers in connection with the purchase and sale of contaminated properties.
- Represented developers and purchasers of contaminated properties in negotiations with governmental agencies in order to obtain Prospective Purchaser Agreements, Comfort Letters and No Further Action Letters for protection from environmental liability.
Mr. Fraijo has served on numerous real estate associations and organizations focused on urban renewal issues and civic empowerment. Mr. Fraijo is the founder and Chairman of the Los Angeles Urban Renewal Network, Inc., a multi-disciplinary collaborative of young professionals engaged in policy and sustainable development to improve the quality of housing in Southern California.
