Francisco Andragnes is the CEO of Metro Buildings, pioneer in the multifamily (apartments-for-rent) industry in Latin America. He has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been involved in more than 400 real estate transactions in ten countries. Since 2011, it has led the development or management of 15 residential and mix-use projects in Mexico City, Monterrey, Santiago, Lima, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and New York. Additionally he is a board member of several public and private companies in the region. Before creating Metro Buildings he was the Chief Investment Officer and head of Transactions for Latin America for Prudential Real Estate Investors for 12 years, and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young before that. He currently serves as the president of the Housing For Rent Association of Mexico (AVER) Francisco graduated in Business Administration from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, earned a postgraduate degree in Strategic Intelligence from the School of War of the Argentine Army, and has a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is an adjunct professor of Global Real Estate at the Schack Real Estate Institute at NYU.
